As of May 2024, BTS was the most followed artist on Korean web portal and app Weverse by far, with almost 25.5 million registered fans worldwide. Weverse is a social media and video content platform created by HYBE Corporation, the company behind BTS. Since its launch in 2019, both the company itself and subsequently the platform has seen rapid growth and expansion, ultimately absorbing many of its major domestic competitors. Of the ten most followed artists on the platform, six are directly affiliated with HYBE or one of its labels: BTS, ENHYPEN, TXT, SEVENTEEN, LE SSERAFIM, and NewJeans.
