In 2022, Facebook was the most widely used social networking platform in Hungary, regardless of device usage. The social media platform was visited by 57 percent of the respondents who used desktop or laptop computers and by a further 56 percent who used their smartphones. At the same time, 23 percent of Hungarians visited Instagram using their mobile devices and another 19 percent of the respondents accessed the platform via a desktop or tablet computer.
