Online shoppers' satisfaction with a product purchased abroad is the main factor motivating customer retention when buying internationally. When asked which factors would encourage them to purchase again from a foreign website, almost half of respondents answered a delivery time that met their expectations.
Leading factors for consumer retention when shopping online internationally in 2022
* Buyers who have shopped online in the past year and bought from a brand or retailer based outside of their country. Approximately 1,000 respondents per the following markets: U.S., Canada, UK, Germany, France, China, Japan, UAE, and Australia.
