In March 2023, OpenAI released the latest version of ChatGPT, GPT-4, which addressed some of the concerns users had with GPT-3.5. The concerns were mainly about the misuse of the AI-powered chatbot and its safety measurements. In the new report, the company claimed that in the version 4, the model's response rate to requests for disallowed content has decreased by 82 percent. The tool's generation of toxic content has been reduced by almost 89 percent. In response to sensitive requests, such as medical advice and self-harm, the model follows company policies 29 percent more often.
