Online advertising spending in Slovakia 2020-2023, by format
Advertising expenditure by format fluctuated in the observed period in Slovakia. In 2023, the format with the highest advertising expenditure was non video display. It amounted to over 72 million euros that year. This advertising format includes in-stream video ads, in-stream banner overlays, in-banner video ads, and others. Second-placed was video display advertising with a spending of over 42.7 million euros, followed by paid for search with expenses of over 42.5 million euros.
