During PMKVY 3 in India which ran between 2020 and 2021, around 40 percent of the candidates were certified. However, only about 9 percent received placements. Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) with the objective to impart industry-level skill training to Indian youth.
