In a survey conducted in September 2022, interest in purchasing a Deutschlandticket for 49 euros or more was highest among respondents whose net household income was 3,000 euros or more. Meanwhile, interest among people with a net household income of less than 2,000 euros per month was lowest, hovering around 30 percent. In these income groups a ticket price of 49 euros or more likely acts as a deterrent to purchasing the ticket.
