Daily time spent on household chores South Korea 2019, by gender
In 2019, married women in South Korea spent about 225 minutes on household chores per day. Compared to that, married men in South Korea spent around 64 minutes daily on household work. Although the engagement in house chores and childcare by South Korean men has increasingly grown over the decade, the gender gap in housework hours remains large.
