Online sports betting and gambling revenue in Portugal 2021-2022, by category

In Portugal, the gross revenue of online sports betting and gambling rose since 2021 from almost 140 million euros to more than 195 million by 2022, which represented a growth of 39.7 percent.
The category with the highest revenue was, for both years, games of chance, which registered almost 110 million euros of revenue in 2022, while odds-type sports bets registered almost 66 million euros of revenue in the same year. However, both categories presented an increase in revenue in 2022 in comparison with 2021.
