According to a survey conducted in February 2023, more than half of U.S. adults claimed they would not switch to an artificial intelligence (AI) powered search engine. Rejection of tools that use this technology was higher among Baby Boomers, although 54 percent of respondents of younger generations also showed more resistance when considering switching. Meanwhile, Millennials were more likely to switch to these tools, as 40 percent of respondents of this generation claimed would do so.
