According to a survey conducted in February 2023, almost nine out of ten adults in the United States considered data privacy and ease of use as the most important selection criteria when choosing a search engine. Interest in whether a search engine used artificial intelligence (AI) to improve results was picked by only 46 percent of the respondents, although most adults in the country were interested in AI-powered online search among other products based on this technology.
