A survey on travel plans during the Ramadan and Eid period (mudik) in Indonesia in 2024 found that 32 percent of respondents chose private cars and motorcycle for Ramadan and Eid trips. Visiting family and friends in hometowns and villages is an important tradition during the Eid holidays in Indonesia.
