A survey on travel plans during the Ramadan and Eid period (mudik) in Indonesia in 2024 found that 47 percent of respondents planned to travel in the fourth week of Ramadan. Visiting family and friends in hometowns and villages is an important tradition during the Eid holidays in Indonesia.
