According to a survey in September 2022 on TikTok usage during Ramadan in Malaysia, 59 percent of the respondents said they would spend time on TikTok during mid-day. Another 59 percent of the respondents said they would be on TikTok during Ramadan nights after iftar or the breaking of fast. Ramadan is the ninth months in the Islamic calendar and is observed by Muslims all over the world by fasting from dawn until sunset.
