According to a 2022 survey, 51 percent of respondents in the United States and 47 percent of respondents in Europe considered machine learning applications as the most promising workload that quantum computing could successfully address in their organization. In addition, 54 percent of U.S. organizations and 43 percent of European organizations viewed finance-oriented optimization as another promising quantum computing workload.
