According to a 2022 survey, 52 percent of respondents in the United States and 48 percent of respondents in Europe viewed potential performance improvements on key existing workloads as the greatest organization driver responsible for adopting quantum computing. In addition, 48 percent of all respondents named potential access to new quantum-specific applications as another main driver of adopting such technology. Overall, a third of all organizations mentioned concern with falling behind competitors as a driver of quantum computing adoption.
