According to a 2022 survey conducted among Gen Z members across six Southeast Asian countries, around 44 percent of female and 30 percent of male respondents stated that their most preferred type of Korean content to consume was K-pop. Other popular content included Korean movies and K-dramas or other entertainment shows.
