As of 2022, Tata Nexon EV had the highest life cycle sale among battery electric vehicles (BEVs) at more than 40 thousand units in India. It was followed by Tigor EV from the same company. In 2022, BEVs had a market share of 1.3 percent among all the passenger vehicles sold in India.
