In 2023, spending on product placement on digital media in the United States rose 15.4 percent, making it the fastest-growing channel for this marketing tactic that year. Music and TV followed as the only other media with double-digit increase rates: 12.4 and 10.5 percent, respectively. According to the same study, TV alone held over three-quarters of the U.S. product placement revenue share in 2023.
