Between 2022 and 2023, conversations about haptic communication rose by 1,083 percent on Facebook. Overall, generative art discussions on Instagram saw an increase of 676 percent in the same period. Furthermore, conversations on Instagram about artificial intelligence rose by 173 percent year-on-year, whilst #metaverse saw increases of 122 percent on the social media platform. Topics surrounding life simulation games and computer art also saw year-on-year growth on social media.
