Opinions regarding legal impunity of ordinary people in Tunisia 2022

In 2022, a survey conducted in Tunisia reported that respondents felt that ordinary people rarely got away with crimes. Approximately 29 percent of people felt this way while another 27 percent felt they never got away with crimes. However, this is a stark contrast compared to views on legal impunity of government officials. This suggests perceived inequality under the law between government officials and ordinary people.
