In 2023, companies contracted roughly 20.9 gigawatts of renewable energy through power purchase agreements (PPAs) in North and Latin America. Meanwhile, Europe, the middle East, and Africa reached a PPA contracted capacity of 15.4 gigawatts that year. Overall, a total of 46 gigawatts of renewable power was contracted through corporate PPAs worldwide.
