In a survey conducted in Australia in May 2024, 18 percent of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) reported that they expect to increase their business investment by increasing the amount they spend on marketing over the next three months. Around 28 percent of SMEs reported that they expect to decrease business spending/capital investment over the next three months.
