According to a 2022 survey of users in the United States, men who watch pornography tend to report higher levels of loneliness, insecurity, and dissatisfaction with their appearance. Approximately 60 percent of men who reported watching adult content in the past 24 hours said they felt lonely and isolated, while only 38 percent of men who had never watched pornography reported feeling the same way. Similarly, 78 percent of men who had watched adult content online in the past 24 hours said they were unhappy with their physical appearance.
