According to a Rakuten Insight survey conducted in Thailand on reasons for not purchasing items on social media in February 2023, the majority of the respondents stated that they were skeptical of the products endorsed by celebrities or influencers at a respondent share of around 30.5 percent. In comparison, 25 percent indicated that they did not like the constant advertisement on social media.
