According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Singapore in 2023 on the frequency of purchases on social media during the last 12 months, approximately 31 percent of respondents between 25 and 34 years answered that they regularly shopped on social media. The same survey indicated that convenience was the main driver of social media purchases among Singaporean consumers.
