According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Taiwan in 2023 on social commerce, more than 82 percent of male respondents and 84 percent of female respondents stated that convenience led them to purchase items via social media. Sale and promotion codes were the second biggest reason leading to purchases on social media.
