The central bank of Egypt (CBE) held almost 2.99 trillion Egyptian pounds (around 96.8 billion U.S. dollars) in assets in 2022. This was the highest recorded value for the CBE assets during the observed period. On the other hand, the lowest value was recorded in 2020, with a value of 1.93 trillion Egyptian pounds (close to 62.46 billion U.S. dollars).
