Breakdown of installed electricity production capacity in Corsica 2023, by source

As of January 2023, more than 50 percent of the installed electricity production capacity in the region of Corsica, France, came from renewable energy sources. Hydropower made up 26.7 percent of the total share of this region's energy capacity and solar energy accounted for another 25.8 percent. However, thermal energy accounted for over 40 percent of this region's electricity capacity.
