Digital banking penetration in Latin America 2022, by select countries
As of January 2022, the share of individuals using digital banking in Brazil was 77.3 percent, making Brazil the Latin American country with the highest digital banking penetration among the observed countries. Brazil was followed by Chile, where the penetration rate was 66.3 percent. Among the observed countries, only Mexico and Peru had digital banking penetration rates lower than 50 percent.
