Total intra-EU goods imports by member states 2023

The internal market of the European Union has continued to grow over the period since 1999, despite periods of economic difficulty, such as the Great Recession and Eurozone Crisis of the early 2010s and the COVID-19 pandemic of the early 2020s. Since the turn of the millennium, the total value of annual imports within the EU have more than tripled, from around 1.2 trillion Euros to over four trillion Euros.
