China's willingness to consume has rebounded since the zero-COVID policy ended. According to a survey in February 2023, more than 90 percent of respondents showed a strong interest in spending on leisure activities such as traveling and cultural events. Also, nearly two-thirds of respondents said they intended to purchase cosmetic products next.
