Mexico: main messenger app users by community 2024

According to a 2024 survey, the majority of the messenger app users in Mexico lived in large cities with populations between 100 thousand and 1 million inhabitants. A high proportion of the users of Google Chat, iMessage and Telegram also lived in megacities with over 5 million inhabitants. Moreover, besides being used by more than 92 percent of the country's population, WhatsApp users were the most representative of which type of community where messenger app users lived.
