In 2022, Algeria was the country in North Africa with the highest share of people who believed men were better political leaders than women, as 76 percent of respondents agreed or strongly agreed with such statement. On the other hand, in Morocco and Tunisia, 49 percent and 40 percent shared this view, respectively.
