In 2023, the provinces of Jeonbuk, Chungnam, and Jeonnam in South Korea all had two cities that were selected for drone delivery and drone service trial demonstrations. Selected cities received subsidies from the government according to the scale and type of drone service testing. 15 cities across the country were chosen for drone testing that year.
