Weekly price inflation index of non-food consumer goods in the U.S. 2023
Between January 1, 2023, and March 19, 2023, prices of non-edible consumer packaged goods remained inflationary at an index level of 109. Non-edible consumer goods include products in the beauty, home care, general merchandise, health, and tobacco category.
A level above 100 was considered to be inflationary, whereas a level below 100 denoted deflation.
