According to a survey on social commerce conducted in 2022, 60 percent of female and 48 percent of male Indonesian respondents stated that they intended to use TikTok Shop to buy products or services in the future. The same survey indicated that ten percent of Indonesian consumers did not intend to use any social media platforms for future purchases.
