In 2021, according to a survey around 31 percent of women in Germany said that they rarely ordered food from a delivery service. Over 13 percent of men said they had food delivered several times a month. The Allensbach Market and Advertising Media Analysis (Allensbacher Markt- und Werbeträgeranalyse or AWA in German) determines attitudes, consumer habits and media usage of the population in Germany on a broad statistical basis.

Information on the population:
German-speaking population aged 14 years and older in private households at main place of residence in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Information on total sample:
2021: 22,563 respondents, representing 70.54 million people
Information on the female respondents group:
2021: representing 35.75 million people

2021: representing 34.79 million people
