Between 2018/2019 and 2021/2022, the share of Spaniards surveyed who reported visiting a museum went down by around half. The attendance rate to galleries and exhibitions in the Iberian country also declined significantly between those two periods. This development is likely to be associated with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
