Most widely known VTuber agencies and projects Japan 2022
According to a survey conducted in Japan in December 2022, the VTuber agency Nijisanji was known by 89.6 percent of people who were interested in VTubers. The only other agency or project in this field that enjoyed a comparable level of recognition was the agency Hololive. The word "VTuber," a short form for "virtual YouTuber," refers to video content creators that use computer-generated avatars. The term was coined by the Japanese VTuber Kizuna Ai and has also been used for similar content creators of other video platforms.
