According to a Rakuten Insight survey conducted in Vietnam in February 2023, 38 percent of female and 45 percent of male respondents stated they chose not to purchase on social media because they did not trust products promoted by influencers or celebrities. The same survey also revealed that four percent of Vietnamese respondents had never used social platforms to do shopping.
