Experience with Pokémon games among gamers Japan 2022
A survey conducted in December 2022 showed that 39.5 percent of gamers in Japan had played at least one Pokémon game. Pokémon games in this survey primarily referred to the video games of the franchise, but also included the trading card game. The first Pokémon video games were released in 1996 for the Game Boy.
