More than 40 percent of the Russian population accessed the social network VK at least once a month in December 2022. VK's reach increased by five percent between January and December 2022, as some users increased their usage of VK after Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter got blocked in Russia in the spring of 2022. Instagram's reach fell from over 30 percent in January 2022 to only six percent in December of that year.
