Around 17 percent of enterprises based in Latvia made online sales within the country's borders in 2021. E-commerce sales to other countries were less common, with approximately seven percent of enterprises selling to other countries in the European Union (EU). At the same time, among individuals who had made an online purchase in Latvia in the past three months, over 40 percent bought from another EU country.
