Cost-income ratio of Credit Suisse 2005-2022
The cost-income ratio of Credit Suisse increased drastically in 2022. At 121.7 percent, the Swiss bank reported the second highest cost-income ratio since 2005. Only in 2008, during the global financial crisis, did Credit Suisse have a higher cost-income ratio. Credit Suisse performed exceptionally poor across multiple metrics in 2022. The net revenue of the bank, for instance, decreased significantly.
