Australia: wagering turnover by state 2020

In the 2020 financial year, the gambling turnover from wagering in New South Wales amounted to close to 7.4 billion Australian dollars. This was significantly higher than wagering turnover in the state of Victoria, which is home to Australia's most famous horse racing event, the Melbourne Cup.
