In 2023, 69 percent of adults surveyed in the United States said they would prefer a telemedicine appointment to carry out a prescription refill. Furthermore, almost half of respondents reported they would rather telemedicine over in-person care if they had a minor illness, while 41 percent had a preference for telemedicine care for mental health appointments.
