Share of dementia illness among people aged 75-84 in Israel 2016, by gender
In a study conducted in Israel in 2016, more cases of dementia were recorded among women between the ages of 75 and 84 than among men in the same age group. 9.28 percent of women in this age group in the general population had a diagnosis of dementia, in comparison to 7.13 percent of men. The total share of people with a dementia diagnosis was 8.36 percent in this age group.
