Share of dementia illness among people aged 65-74 in Israel 2016, by gender
In a study conducted in Israel in 2016, more cases of dementia were recorded among men between the ages of 65 and 74 than among women in the same age group. 1.4 percent of men in this age group in the general population had a diagnosis of dementia, in comparison to 1.32 percent of women. The total share of people with a dementia diagnosis was 1.36 percent in this age group.
