In 2022, e-commerce sales generated around 18 percent of the total revenue of Latvian businesses operating in the accommodation and food service industry. Ranking second was the information and communications sector, where online sales accounted for approximately 16 percent of the annual earnings. The revenue of the e-commerce industry in Latvia was forecast to reach 1.35 billion U.S. dollars in 2027.
